Buyer's Guide
The most comfortable holster is the one you'll wear every day. These picks earn their comfort honestly — wide backers, soft materials and smart positioning — including options that work better for larger builds and long days on your feet.

Before you buy, understand that comfort comes from the whole setup. A quality gun belt matters as much as the holster — it stops sagging and spreads the load. After that, look for a wide or padded backer that distributes pressure, the right ride height and cant, and smooth edges that don't dig.
Position matters too. Many people find OWB under a cover garment the most comfortable of all; IWB hybrids with a big backer are the most comfortable way to conceal deeply; and a belly band spreads weight nicely for beltless days.
For larger builds: a slightly-behind-the-hip IWB position or OWB under an untucked shirt usually beats appendix, which can dig when seated. A hybrid holster with a wide backer and a good belt is the comfort sweet spot.
